Camp Richardson

The Camp Richardson area is about 2.5 miles north of the “Y” (major intersection of Hwy 50 & Lake Tahoe Blvd.) on Highway 89. The Camp Richardson area is also known as Jameson Beach, because all 41 properties in this neighborhood are located on the gated Jameson Beach Road.
All properties in the upscale Camp Richardson area are either lakefront or meadow-front homes with views of the lake and mountains. The properties on the lakeside have sandy beaches that lead to Lake Tahoe and some have their own pier. The meadow-front properties are steps from the lake and also have meadow and mountain views.
In summertime, Camp Richardson is a bustling area and a stop off for bicyclists using the bike path that runs right by it on their way to the beaches along Hwy 89. Camp Richardson has a store, ice cream shop and the famous Beacon Restaurant on the beach. It borders the Valhalla Estate with its beautiful grounds and Valhalla theatre, home of many music and theatrical performances throughout the summer months.
