Meyers

Coming to the bottom of Echo Summit and into the Tahoe basin you will enter the small “village” of Meyers. Meyers is just 4 miles from the South Lake Tahoe  “Y” (the major intersection at the corner of Lake Tahoe Blvd. and Highway 50).

Meyers is a unique community with many different styles of homes and in a price range to match. Many of the homes are on the uphill side with views of mountains and golf course.

Meyers offers many outdoor recreational activities such as golfing, biking, hiking as well as snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter. Meyers also has Tahoe Paradise Park with its own lake, Lake Baron, a beautiful park where families enjoy fishing, picnicing and family fun. The local elementary school an Environmental Science Magnet School with its focus on teaching environmental sciences is another feature of this neighborhood. Meyers is close to all servicers, has its own supermarket Liras, gas stations, restaurants and Meek’s Lumber Hardware store

Many people enjoy Meyers because it has less hustle and bustle than the city of South Lake Tahoe.
