Tahoe Sierra

Centrally located Tahoe Sierra neighborhood has long been known as a first time home buyer neighborhood. Homes located along the edges of the neighborhood are generally higher priced as they border and have views of meadows, mountains and the Truckee river.

The neighborhood is a mix of older homes, some multi family unit homes and along the periphery some newer built homes. Many of the older homes are currently being remodeled and can be a very reasonable buy.

Sierra Blvd. intersects with Hwy 50 and is the main artery through the Tahoe Sierra neighborhood out to Pioneer Trail. Martin Avenue is another less travelled street to Pioneer.  The backside of Tahoe Sierra borders National Forest which allows easy access to biking and hiking trails.

Tahoe Sierra is popular for people looking for affordability and is close to forest and all services. Bus lines are always within walking distance to take you to Casino’s, shopping or beaches.
