TIP #1 – Get a home & termite inspection. .
It’s IMPORTANT to fix health and safety issues prior to going on the market. It also shows Potential buyers you’re TRANSPARENT and have NOTHING to hide!
TIP #2 – get your home appraised by a LICENSED LOCAL appraiser. This can take the guesswork out of pricing AND it ensures you don’t OVER or worse , UNDER price your home.
Believe it or not, that Zillow zestimate… is not ACCURATE… It’s just an ALGORITHM… and doesn’t take into consideration your UPGRADEs, LOCATION, AGE or even the size of your LOT
TIP #3 – require the buyer to be pre-Approved . NOT just PRE- Qualified. You want them to be “underwritten or DU, desk-top underwritten”, this means that they’ve seen the buyers W-2s, bank statements and VERIFIED their employment.
